Coming Together

I learned so many things that changed my life at Diana’s Grove. The power of working with an excellent team is most certainly one of them. It deepens magical work. It means not only do I not have to “do” everything, I don’t have to be the “best” at everything either. Shared skills and talent make for some amazing magic! That is just one of the reasons I am excited to be able to continue to offer the personal growth work, ritual and leadership skills that I was taught and privileged enough to help develop there. Through Expanding Inward I get to continue offering that which feeds me so well.

I have also learned that spiritual work done in community feeds me like nothing else I have found. I am finding I particularly need that nourishment right now. The news recently, the political climate of this country, well it is just plain gets me down. It would be easy for me to give up, in fact there have been times recently when I have seriously considered just throwing my hands in the air and giving up. But then I remember. “Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead and “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi

We do that, you and I. Us, together. We do that. We come together and we sing, and we talk, and we dance, and we raise energy, and we breathe. We do the work. We come together and we are between the worlds, and together we change the world.

I am so grateful to all of us who have come together and were brave enough to step out of time and do the work that was before us to do. And we changed and we changed everything we touched thereafter, whether we knew it or not. And now, in these challenging times I offer thanks in advance for those of us who will come together again. We will do the work that is before us, that needs to be done.

Thank you, this offers me hope.

Good luck on this grand venture! I hope to see you again someday. Our time at the Grove was indeed magical, and you were one of the reasons it was so.

Thanks for the good wishes Shaun. I couldn’t agree more, our time at the Grove was magical. So many wonderful people coming together doing things that seemed impossible, it was grand. It’s a big part of why we came together as Expanding Inward, we want more of that! I enjoy following you in cyberworld, but I would love to see you in person!

I am elated to see that you are here. There has been such a void in my life since Diana’s Grove ceased. I live in Atlanta since being displaced by Katrina, and, at long last, am doing well, but longing to resume the level of spirituality I knew through the Grove. We both began at the Grove at the same time – I recall all the deep changes I saw in you in our time there- so much growth – I was inspired by you. And I am awed now, seeing your commitment and the work you are doing. And very excited at the opportunity to participate in some way, to come together again. I hope to come to an event; can’t arrange to get there in March, but will be looking forward to the next event. This is what I have hoped for, a new beginning, but also a reunion. Thank you, and Blessings!

Winterhawk, it is so good to hear from you. Thank you for your kind words. We did start going to Grove around the same time and I remember very well having many long talks with you. I understood, but I also missed you after your life took you away from Diana’s Grove. It would be great to see you again, here is to hoping the Universe conspires with us to make it so!
